Meet Yolanda
As an entrepreneur, mom, veteran real estate investor, author, speaker, and veterans advocate, my journey has taught me that life is a series of pivotal decisions. I am available to speak to people all over the world to engage with the power of “The PIVOT Decision” for leaning into their vision and pivoting to explore unclaimed opportunities. Over the years, I have spoken to small and medium-sized audiences, including women’s groups, church groups, and schools. I have owned and collaborated with agencies and organizations to provide housing for women, women with children, and male and female veterans. I continue to support organizations that advocate for women, veterans, and entrepreneurs.
I am a member of the Veteran Committee with SCORE and provide mentorship and information to veteran entrepreneurs. I have received numerous community awards, including the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award and the Humanitarian Doctoral Award in Humanitarianism.
Throughout my life, some of my decisions required quiet introspection, while other times demanded immediate attention and action. It was not always easy—but it was worth it.

About the Book:
The author, Yolanda Denise, turned to God, His promises, and her Christian faith for clarity, guidance, and relief from her stress, pain, and uncertainty when her marriage of 27 years ended in divorce. She faced the loss of her identity, familiar comforts, and even friends during these difficult and challenging times. God’s answered prayer is revealed in Yolanda through her spiritual connection and use of the word “NO” in a powerful, empowering, and authoritative way.
She chose specific words and scriptures to ensure her spiritual authority was used powerfully and steadfastly to establish boundaries with anyone who came to disturb, destroy, or disrupt her joy and peace.
